Principal's Message 4/9/20
by Ann Campbell on April 09, 2020
Hello School Family,
Well, it’s the end of week two of our online learning. Students, parents, and teachers are settling in on our new routine of online learning. All of us wish and pray for a return to face-to-face, in-person schooling!
With Governor Brown’s order yesterday, we now know this will not be until next fall for the 2020/2021 school year. While we are all sad about this announcement, we recognize the safety and health of students, families, and teachers are more important.
I love this sunny weather, and so does my dog Piper. It’s so nice to be able to sit and soak up the sun rays and start to plant this year’s garden. While it is wonderful to be outside and to go for walks and hikes, be sure to spread out to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
Dr. Dawn Mautner, MD, senior health advisor at OHA, had a great way of describing how to enjoy the outdoors right now. She said, “If you go out ... spread out!”
One last thought. It’s Easter weekend. I will miss out traditional Friday Easter musical program, church and Easter Sunrise Service. Let each of us take time this weekend to reflect on Jesus and the precious give of salvation He has given to each of us through His death and resurrection. He is the “Good News,” the Rock of Our Salvation,” and our “Shelter in a Time of Storm.” God is Good, Always!
Miss Ann Campbell
My verse of the week:
My Soul finds rest in God Alone;
My Salvation come from Him.
He is my Rock and Salvation:
He is my fortress, I will NEVER be Shaken!
Psalms 62: 1-2
